General Manager

Train, coach and develop your restaurant team, and Associate/Assistant Managers. Ensure optimal restaurant performance; overseeing facility, financial and HR activities according to company policies.

Kitchen Manager

Help ensure total guest satisfaction, and sound restaurant performance; by overseeing Kitchen team training, inventory management and food cost controls.

Hospitality Manager

Ensure total guest satisfaction, overseeing guest interaction, standards for service, restaurant facilities & equipment, and service team staffing and training.

Certified Kitchen Assistant Manager

Cross-train in all skill areas within the restaurant, gaining knowledge of operational tasks including ordering, receiving, storage, and menu planning. This entry-level hourly management position requires completion of a 1-year certification program includig in-store management skills modules, and a 1-week classroom development course.

At Golden Corral, we believe your learning should begin before you serve the first guest in your restaurant. We take the time to give every management candidate the opportunity to learn the Golden Corral system before you are assigned to a restaurant. This training is extensive and is a demonstration of our commitment to you and your success.


TIER 1 – Seven weeks in each of eight Skill Position areas, including one week of shadowing a Training Manager
TIER 2 – Six weeks learning the tools, techniques and systems critical to running a successful Golden Corral as a Hospitality or Kitchen Manager


  • Online learning modules and live, interactive virtual classroom sessions

  • Discussion board activities with other manager trainees across the country

  • In-store activities with a Certified Training Manager, including job shadowing and practice in all departments

  • Training manuals with need-to-know information, focusing on the most critical knowledge for store management

Total compensation for Golden Corral managers includes a base salary and industry-leading incentive bonuses. And, because we have NO CAPS ON BONUS EARNINGS, the potential rewards for a Golden Corral manager who cares about people, understands how to increase sales, and knows how to control costs, are absolutely unlimited!
